Looking for crew for 2007 GCBSR!

I am planning on participating in this years race and I am starting to look around for crew for Quintessence (see listing in "Schooners").
I am looking at the event as three separate "legs." The first is the trip from Barnegat Bay, NJ to Baltimore. This will be a leisurely week-long trip along the NJ coast, up the Delaware Bay and down the Chesapeake, stopping every night.
Leg two is the race itself and associated events. Leg three will be a non-stop outside run up the coast of Virginia and MD back to NJ. I have a couple of friends lined up for the trip down, but am looking for a couple of people for the race and outside run back.
I will be doing a couple of "familiarization" trips this summer (hence my "early" search for crew) so everyone can get to know one another and Quintessence. I was thinking about trips to Annapolis and Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.
If you are interested, drop me an email!

Great News

Hello and great news that you will be joining us on the Chesapeake for the GCBSR. We're in the process of revamping our website so please be patient as we post updates. If you need any info I'll be glad to help or pass you along to the appropriate race chair for either Baltimore or Portsmouth.
Please feel free to contact me anytime.

I'd be interested in crewing...

Hi, I'd be interested. I've done the GCBSR 3x as crew on A.J. MEERWALD (as well as outside legs 2 or 3 times each VA-NJ and up or down the NJ coast to/from Toms River, Sandy Hook, and Oyster Bay), and once each on SAORSA, PIONEER, and MISTRESS. I also volunteer on the docking committee in Baltimore.

I've also crewed on one transatlantic on TE VEGA.

I prob. couldn't do the southbound leg as I am committed to the Mid-Atlantic Small Craft Festival, but the northbound leg might be a possibility.
